REPORTING Senior Vice President of Client Engagement & Success
Job Summary
The Vice President of Client Engagement is a senior sales leadership role responsible for driving new client acquisition and expanding InterLink Relocation Resources’ market presence. This role handles end-to-end sales pursuits—from lead generation and opportunity qualification through proposal development and finalist presentations—while partnering closely with the Senior Vice President on pricing strategy, contract development, and final deal execution.
This position focuses on engaging Fortune 1000 organizations, with an emphasis on senior leaders in Human Resources, Talent, and Procurement, positioning InterLink as a trusted service partner for relocation and global mobility solutions. Success in this role is measured by pipeline growth, opportunity progression, new client wins, and sustained market visibility.
The Vice President of Client Engagement is a highly visible, externally facing leader who combines consultative selling, executive-level communication, and thought leadership to advance strategic growth initiatives.
Essential Functions
Business Development & Territory Growth
- Lead demand generation and new business development efforts within assigned geographic and/or industry territories.
- Identify, qualify, and advance sales opportunities from initial outreach through proposal and finalist stages.
- Develop and execute territory and account strategies aligned with InterLink’s overall growth objectives.
- Conduct market and competitive research to inform prospect targeting, messaging, and solution positioning.
Sales Pursuit Leadership
- Lead the strategy, coordination, and execution of sales pursuits, including discovery, solution positioning, and client engagement.
- Serve as the primary presenter in prospect meetings, discovery sessions, and finalist presentations with HR, Talent, and Procurement decision-makers.
- Partner closely with the Senior Vice President on pricing strategy, commercial positioning, and contract development to support successful deal execution.
- Coordinate internal contributors to ensure proposals and presentations are aligned, compelling, and responsive to client requirements.
- Support a smooth transition from sales to implementation by ensuring clarity of scope, expectations, and commitments.
Client Engagement & Relationship Development
- Build and maintain strong executive-level relationships with prospective clients and key industry stakeholders.
- Position InterLink as a strategic mobility partner through consultative dialogue, credibility, and insight-driven engagement.
- Maintain consistent prospect engagement throughout the sales cycle to build trust and momentum.
Public Speaking, Thought Leadership & Market Visibility
- Serve as a visible ambassador for InterLink by speaking, moderating, or presenting at industry conferences, peer forums, and client events.
- Lead or participate in InterLink-hosted webinars, virtual events, and educational sessions to engage prospects and industry peers.
- Leverage social media platforms and digital engagement tools to strengthen professional presence, share thought leadership, and support demand generation.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop timely, relevant content aligned with market trends, buyer expectations, and InterLink’s capabilities.
Industry & Network Engagement
- Actively participate in relevant industry associations, councils, and professional networks to expand brand awareness and referral opportunities.
- Build and sustain a strong professional network that supports long-term business development and market intelligence.
Qualifications & Skills
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to analyze data, derive insights, and develop strategic client recommendations.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, with a client-first approach.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams & SharePoint).
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts effectively.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently while collaborating cross-functionally.
- Proven ability to exceed KPIs and drive client satisfaction and revenue growth.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Drive new client acquisition and expansion into new and existing markets.
- Lead sales pursuits in coordination with internal teams from initial contact through finalist selection.
- Maintain accurate opportunity tracking, activity documentation, and pipeline visibility within the CRM.
- Provide regular updates to the Senior Vice President on pipeline status, opportunity progression, and market insights.
- Lead solution positioning and messaging for RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses in partnership with internal stakeholders.
- Contribute to annual sales and marketing planning efforts.
- Protect confidential and proprietary company information.
- Perform other duties as assigned and comply with all company policies and standards.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience leading complex B2B sales pursuits for professional, consulting, or services-based organizations.
- Demonstrated success engaging HR, Talent, and Procurement leaders at mid-to-large enterprises.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, present, and facilitate discussions at the senior leadership level.
- Experience managing sales pipelines and opportunity tracking within a CRM environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, marketing, and operations teams.
- Willingness to travel and participate in client meetings, conferences, and industry events as required.
- Active participation in industry associations and professional networks preferred.

Working Conditions
- Remote
- Standard schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. EST
- Occasional after-hours or weekend support as business needs require
