How to Reduce Your Company’s Relocation Spending

Reduce Your Company's Relocation Spending

Many HR professionals throughout the years have asked how hiring InterLink can cut their companies’ relocation costs. Boy, do we have answers…good ones.

For example, consider the many hours of manpower that you and your staff spend managing each relocation. Running your program in-house costs considerably more than outsourcing to a Relocation Management Company; the time and salary saved on outsourcing all of the activities involved in transferring employees allows you and your team the freedom to take care of the rest of your many duties. At InterLink, we have an entire team dedicated to processing transfers, making relocations for employees run more quickly and more smoothly.

But that’s not the only way InterLink can cut your costs…we also do it through our Marketing Assistance Program. InterLink collects referral fees on your employees’ home sale and home purchase, which in turn allows us to provide our program management fees at a reduced rate. Thanks to the decades of experience our team has in marketing properties and buying and selling real estate, your employees can leave their current location and start their new journey elsewhere, faster.

Additionally, InterLink has negotiated rate agreements in place with our national van line partners; those pre-determined rates are not available to companies who set up pack-and-moves directly with their preferred van line.

Another way we save money on behalf of our clients is through our home purchase closing costs. Similar to our van line partners, InterLink negotiates the lowest rates available with our network of national lenders, none of which tack on added “junk fees,” as they are known in the mortgage industry.

And then there is the audit service we provide with each policy. We check and double-check the relocation spend on behalf of our clients to keep them in compliance with their own cost allowance. From household goods invoices to home purchases, our Relocation Consultants and our Director of Operations continually audit for inaccuracies and overcharges; they even look up tax codes in all states, to make sure clients and their employees aren’t stuck with any surprise expenses when all is said and done.

These are but a few of the tangible savings InterLink offers – if you would like to hear how we can reduce your costs (and your stress!) or set up a complimentary Policy Assessment, give us a call toll-free at 866-254-3910 or email us at info@interlinkrelocation.com
